About Us
Our Background
Toby Gunn-Jones, the owner of Dryzabone, brings nearly two decades of experience in the building and construction industry. He began his career in tiling, specialising in Epoxy Grouting, and played a key role in major commercial projects throughout NSW and QLD.
After honing his skills in Epoxy Grouting, Toby moved into the structural concrete repair sector, where he developed expertise in a variety of advanced concrete repair techniques and products. In 2014, he returned to his passion for Waterproofing and Tiling, working on numerous Newcastle projects and learning the most effective methods in the industry.
In 2017, Toby launched his own business, Top Gunn Epoxy, delivering successful projects for Woolworths Supermarkets across Australia’s East Coast, as well as a significant number of jobs throughout Newcastle, the Central Coast, and Sydney.
Frustrated by the number of failed waterproofing stories in the industry, Toby decided to focus his efforts locally and founded Dryzabone with the motto “Do It Once, Do It Right”. His commitment to staying up to date on the best products and solutions means every job receives a tailored approach, giving Dryzabone a competitive edge.
